Recent Actions Taken By the Institute

By combining the diplomatic influence of public diplomacy practitioners, knowledge and tools of academia and civil society with the power of international law, the Institute engages with international bodies, such as the United Nations, United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, WBG, and IMF aiming to help make international action taken by UNDERREPRESENTED GROUPS from developing countries more visible in the international arena and improves the coherency of their response to global issues, respecting state sovereignty while seeking to improve efficiency through consultation and networking.

• O. Weretelnik (PhD) participated in the Annual Meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank Group

• Four Doctor/PhD members of the Institute have been involved in important UN events

• The Institute has been approved to participate in the World Health Organization Civil Society Commission by the WHO

• The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime approved the participation of the Institute in the sessions of the UN Ad Hoc Committee to Elaborate a Comprehensive International Convention for Countering the Use of Information and Communication Technologies-ICT- for Criminal Purposes.

• The Institute and ASSOCIATION OF LEGISLATIVE DRAFTERS AND ADVOCACY PRACTITIONERS (ALDRAP) are pleased to announce the signing of an Agreement on partnership.

• The Institute Has Participated In the UNODC Constructive Dialogues for the UNTOC RM

• Science Summit around the 78th United Nations General Assembly

• Global Forum on Responsible Business Conduct

• The Institute received Special accreditation to the Fifth United Nations Conference on the Least Developed Countries / JOIN

• United Nations General Assembly approved NGOs to participate as observers in the UN Water Conference (The Institute is among approved organizations)

• Europol’s Amended Regulation Enters into Force: New Opportunities for Public Diplomats
