High-level Meeting on the UN Global Plan of Action to Combat Trafficking in Persons

Members of the Institute, public diplomacy practitioners, civil society organizations, academic institutions are invited to register for the Informal interactive multi-stakeholder hearing.

Pursuant to resolution General Assembly resolution 79/286, the President of the General Assembly of the United Nations will convene an informal interactive multi-stakeholder hearing as part of the preparatory process for the high-level meeting of the General Assembly on the appraisal of the United Nations Global Plan of Action to Combat Trafficking in Persons, on 30 June 2025, at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. The multi-stakeholder hearing will consist of an opening segment, interactive panel discussion and a closing segment. The theme of the panel discussion will be: The Global Plan of Action - enduring trafficking issues and gaps, and emerging issues. Please see the Concept Note for more info.
